What is the Academic Ceremony?
The Academic Ceremony is the part of the Commemoration where we celebrate the past year’s academic achievements, the innovative engineers of the future, and the staff who help shape them. It is also an occasion to honor our valued partners, whose support for the university is indispensable.

How do I attend the Academic Ceremony?
The ceremony takes place from 17:00–18:20. Everyone is welcome, but seating is limited and cannot be reserved. If you wish to attend, you must be seated no later than 16:45. Doors open at 16:15 and close at 16:45.

The ceremony will be live-streamed in Danish and in an interpreted English version. Watch the live stream here on the website.

What if I do not understand Danish?
The ceremony is simultaneously interpreted into English via headsets.

The Gala Dinner will be served at various locations in Buildings 101 and 202.

Where will I be seated?
All registered participants will receive their seating location and time in advance by email.

Seating cannot be changed.

What is on the menu?

Bar
Beverages can be purchased at the bar.
Bringing your own drinks is not permitted.

What does the Ball include?

Dress code
Formal attire (e.g. suit or evening dress)

Les Lanciers
Lessons in Les Lanciers will be offered during the week leading up to the Commemoration.
Times will be announced via the Facebook event and Inside.
Everyone is welcome to participate.

Lost property
Items can be collected at S-Huset until 13:00 on the Monday following the event (Building 101).
Afterwards, they will be transferred to the reception at Management and Administration (Building 101).
